A Japanese silver Meiji period (1868 -1912) serving spoon decorated with chrysanthemums inlaid with gold, with asymmetrical twig handle adorned with foliage and buds, by Sadajiro (of) Musashiya.
Sadajiro Musashiya (SM) has been documented by Adrien von Ferscht, an expert on Chinese Export Silver, as being for a Canton firm working in Yokahama, founded and run by Ozeki Sadajiro at 66 Honcho-dori (Main Street).
