An unusual German chrome plated steel ‘Hercules’ type corkscrew. This example marked ‘Bacchus – Reform DRGM’ on the shank. The ‘DRGM’ (Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchsmuster) is the German Empire Registered design in operation from 1891 to 1935. Perfect bladed worm. Circa 1920.
