A magnificent late 19th century Italian four pillar brass corkscrew marked F. FARABOSCHI REGGIO K.” on the shoulder. The leather insert ring in the frame protects the top of the bottle while the whole corkscrew is turned into the cork. Once inserted the handle is unscrewed thus removing the cork. Archimedean worm with point. Circa 1880.
