A French mechanical all steel propeller type corkscrew. This example is known as the Aero. It is marked “AERO” on the fly-nut handle and “DEPOSE JHP PARIS” on the frame. The JHP is for Jacques Perille who was the main producer of this design. Perfect centre cut bladed worm. Circa 1890.
