A German open frame steel sprung corkscrew. When the clips are engaged onto the frame the spring compresses providing lift as the cork is penetrated enabling in its easy removal. This example is an unmarked example of D.R.G.M. 184844 from Georg Usbeck in 1902, which was for the two U-shaped hooks that fit over the top of the frame to lock it in place. Perfect centre cut worm.
