An English straight pull corkscrew known as ‘The Twin’. This corkscrew was a combined single finger pull and lever pull corkscrew. This example marked “THE TWIN” on one side and a British registered design lozenge on the other side for 18 May 1877 Number 310265. This was granted to James Henry Stone, 4 & 5 St Paul’s Square, Birmingham. Perfect centre cut worm. Circa 1880. (Provenance: Frank Ellis Collection 2014)
