Cape silver double beaker in the form of a wine barrel by Lawrence Twentyman, Circa 1825, set with two Dutch ‘silver rider’ ducatons. These feature a mounted knight on horseback and the crowned arms of the United Netherlands on the reverse, with a shield indicating Utrecht, the province of minting. One dated 1780 and the other 1790.
