A German all steel bronze painted corkscrew of bivalent shaft and crab piece type. The underside of the crab piece has teeth that engage the recess in the top of the frame, stopping the penetration of the worm into the cork and reversing the direction of the shaft. This pulls the cork out of the bottle. Perfect bladed worm. Circa 1900.
