Mid-20th century Norwegian ‘925’ silver and enamel thimble, featuring a young boy with a flute leading a fawn by Aksel Holmsen (1873-1962).
Aksel Holmsen worked as a goldsmith for the David Anderson company from 1889 to 1904. He started his own firm in 1904 in Oslo and was joined by his son Ivar in 1942.
Dimensions: 2.2 cm high by 1.6 base diameter.
