A steel, chrome plated straight pull corkscrew. This example is marked “REG 627914” on the shank and was a registered design taken out by Albert William St. John Harmsworth of London on 26th April 1907. It carries the makers mark “MARWOOD & CO BLACKBURN AND LONDON” stamped onto the handle. The shank containing a cap lifter leads to a perfect bladed worm. Circa 1910.
