Two cased sets of six Japanese Sterling silver teaspoons having octopi finials with gold inlaid eyes, bamboo-style handles and cast abalone shell bowls by Sadajiro (of) Musashiya. Import marks for London 1893 & 1894 by Liberty & Co. These spoons in original Liberty boxes date from the first year Liberty registered its hallmark and were amongst the first silver imported and retailed by them.
Dimensions: 11.6 cm- 11.8 cm tall by 2.5 cm across the bowls.
Cases- 17.4 cm wide by 13.9 cm deep by 2.5 cm thick.
