A steel sprung corkscrew with small bell. The handle has a cap lifter incorporated into it. The bell with the spring assist would have eased the cork out of the bottle and this design is seen on mainly German made corkscrews. Currently this corkscrew is unique with no other examples having been recorded. Perfect bladed centre cut worm. Circa 1895. (Provenance: Frank Ellis Collection 2014)
