Cape Silver snuffbox by Lawrence Twentyman, bearing two sets of makers marks in different sizes. Circa 1825. Owners initials WT engraved to the back.

Dimensions: 4.5 cm wide by 3 cm deep by 1 cm thick.

Weight: 28 grams.

Condition: Well used condition with numerous bumps and scratches. The hand engraving on the base is worn and fading in places. The top shows evidence of removed initials to the central cartouche. The box is a good weight and the hinge is tight allowing the box to open and close easliy.
