A rare George III silver pocket folding bow corkscrew with sheath. This example marked I.S. Circa 1770.
The only other example bearing this makers mark was part of the Bernard Watney collection and was on a Dublin made Irish corkscrew.
Note: The hole on the swivel hinge would have had a screw on silver seal/ pipe tamper. This has been replaced with a modern version in keeping with the original.
Dimensions: 5 cm seal to handle by 3 cm across the bow by 4.3 cm hinge to bow.
