A straight pull Sydney Flowers English patent corkscrew with combination handle having cap lifter, spike for breaking ice & wire fasteners, and a slot for loosening stoppers before their withdrawal. This example marked on top of the handle ‘PATENT 3347’ which was Sydney Flowers 20 February 1900 English patent. It is further marked ‘DRGM 130884’ under the handle which was H & W Batafy’s German patent granted 24 February 1900. Grooved helical worm – slightly short. Circa 1905.
